Vyper Air is the latest dive computer from Suunto. Following the Suunto Legacy of high quality dive computers, Vyper Air has all the functions you will expect - dive time, non-deco time, deep stops, ascent rate, safety stop, dive and time alerts, battery check etc.

Vyper Air operates in both Scuba and Free Dive Modes.

It has a comprehensive logbook, which keeps your dive profiles and lifetime history in the different modes. The Nitrox Mode gives you the ability to change the oxygen content from 21% to 99% and the partial pressure up to 1.6 bars.

The built-in dive simulator helps the divers to quickly and easily plan their next dive without having to make lengthy calculations. Suunto RGBM algorithm for continuous decompression ensures the most efficient and safe dive.

If you decide to use your Vyper Air for diving in mountain lakes, you must use the option “Altitude Adjustment” and you need to adjust the altitude.

The Vyper Air’s advantage is the option to change gases during descent. The large and clear dot-matrix display allows for easy data readings in any conditions underwater. For night dives you have also soft blue backlight, which does not irritate the eyes.

The Vyper Air’s innovation is the integrated wireless adapter, which allows you to monitor the tank pressure and the rate of breathing. This feature greatly facilitates the diver by not having to plan the remaining diving time underwater in relation to the remaining air in the tank. Just in case though, you have a sound alarm informing you for the tank pressure reduction.

Another novelty is the electronic 3D compass that can be tilted up to 45 degrees in any direction without impairing the ability to read figures clearly. The compass works with an exeptional high precision. Before use, it needs to be calibrated.

Like any other computer from Suunto family, Vyper Air can be connected to PC, you can download all information from your Logbook, view profiles from previous scuba dives and plan new ones. You only need to have the Suunto Dive Manager software installed and a USB cable.

All this functionality comes in a copmact, stylish wrist computer weighing just 68 grams and is available in the dealers network at price of around 400 euros.
